The thing about hiring people for a distributed team is that they need to be self-motivated and productive when working at home, in cafes or in a co-working space. During the selection process, we particularly look for people who have worked as freelancers or in start-ups. Everyone on board is incredibly smart, and it's just great to work with them.
Flexible working hours
We love to work together, so we have office hours to make sure we can work together, but of course we are always flexible. Some of us are early birds, others are night owls. We focus on results, not on when you start work.
