Senior QA Lead Engineer (m/f/d)
As Senior QA Lead Engineer, you build the technical QA infrastructure for a fast-paced, AI-assisted product team. Memberspot generates a high volume of product code and UI changes; your job is to ensure that this pace remains reliable. You define the test strategy, build and maintain Playwright/E2E and regression testing infrastructure, integrate quality gates into CI/CD, improve the reproducibility of bugs, and establish standards that enable developers and agents to ship faster without inadvertently increasing product risk.
This is not a design system or pixel review role. You may flag obvious UX issues during testing, but responsibility for visual quality, spacing, UI polish, and design system compliance lies with the design role. Your mission is technical product quality: automated confidence, release safety, reproducible defects, and scalable QA workflows.

These tasks await you
- Own the QA strategy and technical testing infrastructure across the platform
- Build and evolve Playwright-based end-to-end, smoke, regression, and critical-path tests
- Define test data, fixtures, selectors, and consistent testing conventions for frontend-heavy workflows
- Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions and release pipelines
- Establish clear quality gates for AI-generated and developer-generated code
- Reproduce, isolate, and document bugs with sufficient technical detail to ensure a quick resolution
- Provide technical guidance and support to the current QA Engineer, particularly in the areas of automation, DevOps, and AI tools
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design while ensuring that QA remains technically focused and non-disciplinary
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted testing workflows where they provide real value
