More interactivity, more clarity and more customization options for an even better learning experience as well as a more user-friendly admin preview await you with our new update and that's exactly what we want to introduce to you today. 🥁
Increase the user-friendliness and engagement of your members by integrating a wide variety of widgets with JavaScript, use bookmarks to save important lessons in your collection and easily switch between admin and member view as an admin via the toolbar.
It is now also possible to copy portals between the member areas. Please note that if there are linked courses, portals, pages or spaces in the widgets in the copied portal, these must be linked again.

Now you can integrate various widgets with JavaScript into your member area. 🎉
Interactivity: JavaScript allows you to add interactive elements to your portals and course editor pages and posts, such as quizzes, interactive diagrams, animations and more. These can help to increase the engagement and motivation of your participants and make the learning process more entertaining and memorable.
✅ Personalization: With JavaScript, you can personalize learning experiences by displaying different content in the portal.
✅ Clarity: Your members now really have everything in one place, because you can equip the portals with various widgets relevant to your course and take your members' learning experience to the next level.
We have some examples of how you can use JavaScript for yourself:
Quizzes and surveys: With JavaScript, you can create interactive quizzes and surveys that allow your members to test their knowledge and give feedback.
📆 Calendar: A calendar widget can be used to plan and display learning events, deadlines and other important dates.
👍🏽 Rating systems: A rating system widget can be used to allow your members to rate courses, content or even other learners.
👣 Learning path visualizations: A learning path visualization widget can show which path your participants can or should take through the course.
🕹️ Gamification elements: You can incorporate widgets such as leaderboards, badges or points systems to make learning more fun and motivating.
📱Social media feeds: These widgets can display updates from social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. A social media widget allows your members to share content, network and discuss.
🧠 Virtual whiteboards: A whiteboard widget can be used for interactive discussions, brainstorming sessions and collaborative learning.
🗺️ Google Maps: You can use a Google Maps widget to display an interactive map.
📧 Newsletter registration: Your members can use this widget to enter their e-mail address to receive updates or newsletters from you.
🗣️ Testimonials: A testimonials or customer reviews widget can display positive feedback or reviews from your customers.
⏳ Countdown timer: Use a countdown timer to highlight upcoming events or a deadline.
🛒 E-commerce widgets: If you also sell products or services online, you can now use widgets such as a shopping cart, product lists or payment forms.
These widgets can help you improve usability and engagement in your course area and provide a richer, more interactive learning experience.

If you want to integrate JavaScript in a widget in the customer and employee portal, proceed as follows.
Click on Customer Code and drag it into the portal as a widget:
Copy and paste the complete code.
You can also include it in an IFrame lesson or in the detailed description.
You can now also add JavaScript to the boxes, i.e. the Livecallbox or the Coachbox. This gives you even more options. 🙌🏽

Let's move on to our next feature so that your members no longer have to search for relevant content in the course, but can access it directly.
Lessons can now be bookmarked. 🔍
✅ The bookmark helps your participants to individualize their learning experience and create their own collection of lessons that are important to them and adapt them to their own needs.
Simply click on the bookmark symbol in the relevant lesson to add it to your collection. You can find all bookmarks or bookmarked lessons by going to the user and clicking on Bookmarks.

The next feature makes this easier, especially for admins. 👇🏽
We have customized the preview for administrators. 👀
✅ Switch easily and quickly to the preview without a preview user, but via your own admin member profile.
Currently, you can jump to the live preview by clicking on the eye symbol.
You are then logged in as a preview user. You can recognize this by clicking on the profile picture at the top right, where you can see that you are logged in with the email "vorschau@mymberspot.de".
In the community you can currently also see the blue notice that you are in "preview mode".
We have introduced this new update so that several administrators can appear as moderators in the community with different profiles and create a post directly without having to log out and in first. 🤩
The new update makes operation more intuitive, as each administrator is logged in with their own e-mail address and profile.
If you are added as an admin or create a school, you are automatically created as a member with the identifier Admin.
As a user, you are always automatically logged in with the rights that you have as an admin. This means that an admin member automatically has the same rights as their role (teams) allows them. In the member administration you can recognize the member profiles of the administrators by the "Admin" marking.
Depending on your role, you will have access to different content.
You cannot be removed from the members as an admin, this is only possible if you remove the person under Teams. If they are removed from Teams, they are also removed from Members.
In the member you can also see which access was assigned via a normal activation and which access was assigned via the admin authorization.
Jump from the admin view to the member area by clicking on the eye symbol at the top right.
With this change, you can only see the admin preview in courses that you can edit. As a user, you can open a menu with a button at the top left of the member area. By clicking the View: "Admin / Members" button, the view of the course content changes, so you can view chapters and lessons in draft status.
Are you currently using the preview user to create posts in your community? Then we recommend that you switch to your Admin member profile.
If you would still like to edit the preview user's post, you can register as a member using the following button.
You can use this button to log in as any member. This allows administrators to log in as a member and see exactly what a member sees. (Chapters with time-delayed activation, etc.)
This provides administrators with a tool to ensure fast customer support on their own. If a member says that something in the platform is different than expected, you can quickly see whether it is a software-related problem that is occurring in the account. This means that minor misunderstandings in communication can often be resolved independently without having to contact support. 💪🏽
