2024 is already in full swing and a lot has happened in January and February, check out our February updates now and benefit from more efficiency and ease of use. You can find out all about the latest features and enhancements here. At the end, there is also a brief preview of the next features that await you soon.
We have expanded the previous side menu so that you can now use it both as a side menu and as a top menu. This gives you more flexibility when navigating our software.
You can either use a side menu or a top menu - both are no longer possible. The top menu is set by default. You can also see a menu preview in the settings to check directly what works best for your member area.
By clicking on the side menu button, you activate the side menu, a menu preview also appears here. You can of course switch between the top and side menu at any time.
You can now access the settings for the top or side menu under Content → Menu and no longer, as before, via the menu navigation under Design → Course display. This means that you can now edit the links directly in the menu.
As before, you can add, edit, move and organize your links, portals, etc. there.
If you click on the Settings button, you can also make your menu settings directly there and customize your link texts that are displayed in the top or side menu.
If you click on the menu item button, you can directly link an existing element, create a group, a portal or a space, as well as new pages and links. This way you have all settings in one place and can manage and use your courses and community even more effectively.
It is now also possible to place several menu items in a menu drop-down. Create a group and combine other elements such as portals, spaces, links, pages etc. under this menu item. Click on the arrow to expand or collapse all elements in the group.
If you want to add more content to a menu drop-down, simply click on the plus symbol next to the group name and add individual content.
If you have a lot of links, the top menu will quickly become confusing, in which case you should choose the side menu. If, on the other hand, you have 5 to 6 links, the top menu can appear clearer and more appealing.
In the top menu, other links that cannot be displayed are cut off and you have to navigate to other links using the right arrow. In the side menu, on the other hand, there is enough space, even for many links.
Previously, it was only possible to assign access to portals in the side menu mode. This restriction has been removed: All portals of a user that are not linked in the menu now appear in a separate portal group. If you move the mouse over or click on portals, all portals of a user that are not linked in the top or side menu are displayed.
All of our customers' old links from the previous structure have been successfully migrated to the new structure. So you don't have to do anything anymore. 🥳
If you had both a top menu navigation and a side navigation, then these links were placed at the end of the side menu.
Here you can still see the view of a member with the top menu set, if you move the mouse over the individual menu drop-downs, the sub-items are displayed, so you save additional space in the menu and organize topics for the members directly.
If there are more links, you can use the side menu, as already mentioned. Here is also a screenshot from a member's perspective. To display the sub-items of the menu drop-downs, click on the small arrow in this view.
It is now possible to permanently delete users via our API using the Delete-Users endpoint. The difference to removing access is that all of the member's data is deleted and they may have to be created again.
Our Zapier and Make integrations have also been expanded to include the function for deleting members. This means you can now work even more efficiently and seamlessly with our software.
Automate offboarding processes with our new Delete Users endpoint! From now on, you can not only remove users from our platform, but also via the API. This allows you to automate offboarding processes and optimize your user management.
We have also added this function to our Make and Zapier integrations. With Zapier version 2.0.7, you can use this function and automate offboarding processes even more easily. Of course, you can also delete users with Make version 1.3.1. Make your offboarding easier than ever before!

Record your videos directly and without detours in Memberspot and edit them smoothly and easily in the tool. Choose between webcam recording, screen recording or both and edit your videos immediately afterwards.
The first features of our Mega Community Update, which we announced at the end of last year, are finally here.
There is a new Community Onboarding Page, here your participants have to choose photo, display name and headline, because these are mandatory fields.
When the community is activated, there are now new fields that your users can fill in. If a member has completed the community onboarding, they can change their name, profile picture, social media links, etc. in the new view.
This feature is a preparation for our Mentions and Profiles feature that will be released in the next few weeks.
If someone is then mentioned in a comment or has posted a comment, it will be possible to click on the profile and view this data. This allows your members to network and exchange information even better.
In the members view, it is now possible to use organization filters to display all members who are not assigned to an organization. In addition, organizations have now been renamed to groups.
🌐 Community Profile:
Similar to social networks, your members will soon have their own profiles that can also be viewed by other users, which significantly promotes the networking of your members.
🗣️Mentions in the community:
Soon, users will also be able to tag each other under posts, allowing them to respond more specifically and point out relevant information in posts. This increases the group dynamic and improves the exchange between your participants and thus also the learning experience.
📋 Course categories :
Courses can soon be assigned to their own categories, so you can organize them even better and also ensure an overview for your participants or employees with lots of different content.
