The employer offensive 2023: The event for HR managers and entrepreneurs in SMEs

On September 27, 2023, Dresden, a city known for its rich cultural and historical tradition, became a hub for entrepreneurs and HR experts. The Employer Offensive 2023 was not only an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in recruiting, but also a chance to gain valuable insights from experts and discover practical solutions to the challenges of employee recruitment and retention. 🙌🏽

The employer offensive was organized by Sjors Matser and Felix Schulz, the founders and managing directors of Recrutis, and took place in the Löwensaal in Dresden, a very beautiful and exclusive location. What characterized the employer offensive

The event was distinguished above all by its practice-oriented approach. The speakers, all specialists from the SME sector, contributed their first-hand experience and gave participants insights into proven strategies and solutions. They were not only present on stage, but also in 1:1 discussions in which they offered individual solutions to specific problems faced by the participants. This personalized approach ensured that each attendee was able to take away valuable information tailored to their business. 💪🏽

This allowed for in-depth discussions and ensured that each speaker and expert had enough time to respond to questions and concerns from attendees. The employer campaign focused on four main topics: Employee Recruitment, Hiring Process, Onboarding and Retention. These topics were covered by four top speakers. 💎

Employee recruitment: Sjors from Recrutis covered the topic of employee recruitment himself as a speaker. Recrutis has developed automated recruiting software that generates and pre-qualifies suitable applicants. It enables companies to strengthen their employer brand, attract top applicants and fill vacancies quickly. Recruitment process: Dr. Dominik Herzog from SYLVENSTEIN covered the recruitment process comprehensively in his presentation. SYLVENSTEIN Rechtsanwälte is a leading digital law firm specializing in advising medium-sized growth companies. With their "Digital Legal Department", they offer comprehensive legal support in all areas of business, from employment law to enforcement. ⚖️

They act pragmatically and professionally, whether out of court or in court proceedings. A special feature is their tailor-made subscription billing model, which ensures clear costs and fast interactions. Their clients come from various industries across Germany, including software, pharmaceuticals and media. They assist in areas such as customer contracts, public representation, employee matters and competition issues. 🤝🏽

In his presentation, Dominik gave deep insights into the recruitment process from a legal perspective. Every company, big or small, needs to be aware of which questions it is allowed to ask, which contractual clauses could be problematic and how to avoid discrimination. 👀

He emphasized that experienced employees are often too anchored in detail and can overwhelm beginners.
